1. What is Morningstar Global?

Morningstar Global is a global talent acquisition and trader evaluation company. We identify, evaluate, and represent skilled traders to asset managers, hedge funds, and institutional investors worldwide. We are not a prop firm or broker. Our role is to discover talent, evaluate performance, and connect top traders with capital opportunities through our network of institutional partners.

2. Are you a prop firm or a broker?

No. We are not a prop firm or a brokerage. We operate as a talent scouting and evaluation platform—similar to how a sports agency scouts players and connects them to professional teams. We don’t provide brokerage services, investment advice, or hold client funds. Instead, we provide evaluation programs, portfolio-building opportunities, and representation for traders who demonstrate consistent, professional-level performance.

3. What’s the main difference between Morningstar Global and typical prop firms?

Unlike typical prop firms that focus on profit splits within closed ecosystems, Morningstar Global evaluates traders on demo accounts, offers live capital for portfolio building with a 50% profit split and 100% drawdown, and represents top performers to hedge funds, asset managers, and global investment firms. We focus on career growth, institutional introductions, and verified live portfolios using reputable third-party brokers and verification tools.

4. How does the evaluation work?

1) Registration – Choose an evaluation program starting from $1.
2) Demo Account – You receive a demo account from one of our partnered brokers (Exness, XM, IC Markets, or others).
3) Trading Phase – Trade in real market conditions on demo funds.
4) Verification – Your performance is verified via Myfxbook or FXBlue.
5) Representation – Passing traders are represented to asset managers and hedge funds for institutional opportunities.

5. Are the demo accounts provided by Morningstar Global?

Yes. Morningstar Global provides professional demo accounts through reputable brokers used by liquidity providers and the investment industry. These accounts allow traders to trade in live market conditions during evaluation, with performance tracked and verified via Myfxbook or FXBlue. Upon passing the evaluation and interview, traders are offered live capital allocations to build verified live portfolios with a 50% profit split and scaling benefits.

6. Why use Myfxbook or FXBlue?

Myfxbook and FXBlue are trusted third-party performance verification platforms used globally by traders, brokers, and institutions. They provide transparent, tamper-resistant performance metrics and real-time analytics which ensure credibility and authenticity of results.

7. What happens if I pass the evaluation?

If you pass the evaluation you are placed on our Talent List. Your performance portfolio is compiled and professionally formatted for institutional presentation. You may be offered live trading accounts through Morningstar Global’s Talent Development & R&D Program for portfolio building with a 50% profit split and scaling plan. We begin introducing your profile to hedge funds, asset managers, and private investors.

8. Do I get a live funded account after passing?

Passing the evaluation does not guarantee immediate institutional funding, but it qualifies you for representation and eligibility for live capital allocations. Some top performers will receive live trading accounts via Morningstar Global’s Talent Development & R&D Program, while others will be introduced directly to institutional partners based on performance.

9. How much does it cost to join an evaluation program?

Evaluation programs start from $1 and range up to larger tiers depending on your chosen phase structure (1-, 2-, or 3-phase) and target capital size. Pricing tiers are designed to suit different experience levels and ambitions.

10. Is this a subscription or a one-time fee?

All evaluation program fees are one-time payments. There are no recurring monthly subscriptions for the evaluation itself

11. What happens if I fail the evaluation?

If you fail, the evaluation account is closed and you may reapply by purchasing another evaluation program. Many traders succeed on subsequent attempts; we encourage treating evaluations like professional assessments rather than casual trials.

12. Who are your institutional partners?

Morningstar Global cultivates relationships with asset managers, hedge funds, and private investment groups across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. We professionally introduce talented traders to these entities once their verified live portfolios meet institutional standards.

13. Do I become an employee of Morningstar Global or a hedge fund?

No. Morningstar Global acts as a representative and introducer, not as an employer. Traders remain independent; offers from institutions are contractual relationships between the trader and the accepting institution.

14. What kind of portfolios can top traders manage?

Top traders may be introduced to portfolios ranging from several hundred thousand dollars up to $100 million+ depending on track record quality, strategy scalability, risk management, and institutional interest.

15. Is Morningstar Global regulated as a financial entity?

Morningstar Global is not a broker, fund, or asset manager. We operate as a talent evaluation and representation entity. We do not handle client funds, provide brokerage services, or give investment advice. Our model focuses on evaluation, verification, and institutional introductions.

16. Who owns the funds in the demo accounts?

There are no real funds in the demo accounts used for evaluation. Morningstar Global provides simulated demo accounts through trusted brokers; these are used to assess skill, discipline, and strategy in live market conditions similar to traditional paper trading. Passing traders may be offered live capital afterwards to build verified portfolios.

17. Is there any risk to me as a trader?

No direct financial risk during evaluation; you trade demo accounts, not your own capital. Your only cost is the evaluation fee. Live capital allocations, if offered, carry risk to the allocated funds under the agreed drawdown rules.

18. Can I trade my own live account with Morningstar Global?

No. Morningstar Global does not provide brokerage, PAMM/MAM services, or trading infrastructure for personal live accounts. However, if you have a verified public live track record via Myfxbook or FXBlue, we can review and potentially represent you based on that performance.

19. How do profit splits and scaling work at Morningstar Global?

After passing evaluation and trading live capital, traders receive a 50% profit split on generated profits. Morningstar Global uses a performance-based scaling model: when you reach predefined profit targets, your allocation may be doubled. There are no restrictions on trading style as long as you do not lose 100% of your allocated capital.

20. Are there any restrictions on trading strategies or styles?

Morningstar Global does not place restrictive rules on trading styles. Whether manual, algorithmic, news-based, swing, scalping, or hybrid, you trade by your rules. The key expectation is professional risk management and not losing 100% of allocated capital.

21. How long does the evaluation process take?

The evaluation duration depends on the trader's pace and chosen program. Some traders pass within weeks; others take longer to meet profit targets consistently. Once you pass, our team typically reviews performance within 3–5 business days before scheduling the post-evaluation interview.

22. How and when are profits paid out?

Profits generated on live accounts are split 50/50 between the trader and Morningstar Global. Payouts are typically processed on a monthly cycle, though traders may request payouts after reaching profit targets. Payments are made via secure methods such as bank transfer or verified payment gateways, depending on location and compliance requirements.

23. Who can apply for the evaluation programs?

Traders worldwide are welcome, provided they are at least 18 years old, can legally trade in their jurisdiction, and understand basic trading platforms and risk management. We evaluate candidates based on talent, discipline, and results—not nationality or background.

24. Which platforms and instruments can I trade during the evaluation?

Evaluations are conducted on MT4 and MT5 platforms using partnered brokers (Exness, XM, IC Markets, etc.). Traders can trade forex, commodities (including gold), indices, and other major instruments supported by these brokers.

26. Do you offer refunds for evaluation program fees?

Evaluation program fees are non-refundable, as they cover account setup, platform access, and verification tools. Traders should join once prepared to treat the evaluation as a professional assessment.

27. Are there any prohibited strategies or practices?

To preserve fairness and integrity, the following practices are strictly prohibited:
- Hedging between multiple evaluation accounts to manipulate outcomes
- Malicious exploitation of simulated/demo market conditions (latency arbitrage, manipulation tactics)
- Gambling-type behaviour, such as risking excessively large portions of capital in a single trade
Traders are advised to risk no more than 20% of capital per trade to maintain institutional acceptability. Other legitimate strategies are welcome.

28. Are live funds guaranteed if I pass the evaluation program?

Passing the evaluation and completing the interview phase qualifies you for live capital allocation through Morningstar Global’s Talent Development & R&D Program. While live allocations are offered to qualifying traders, institutional placement is subject to performance, readiness, and interest from partner institutions.

29. What happens after I receive live capital?

Once funded, you enter a structured scaling and monitoring phase. Each time you reach predefined profit targets, your allocation may be increased. Your performance remains verified and monitored, and consistent traders are progressively introduced to larger portfolios and potential institutional placements.

30. Can I lose my live account allocation?

Yes. If a live account reaches the 100% drawdown limit, the account will be closed. Traders may reapply for another evaluation program if they wish to continue. This protects allocated capital and maintains professional standards.

31. What happens to profits already paid out if my live account later hits drawdown?

Any profits withdrawn before a 100% drawdown remain the trader's property. If the account later hits the drawdown limit, the account is closed but previously withdrawn profits are unaffected.

32. Can I upgrade my evaluation program after starting?

Yes. Traders can upgrade to larger evaluation programs or faster phase structures at any time by purchasing the desired program. Previous results remain separate and each program is treated independently.

33. What happens when I get accepted by a hedge fund, asset management firm, or investment company?

Acceptance by an institution typically leads to a professional trading contract, capital allocation, and onboarding. You transition from retail to professional asset manager status, adhering to the institution's risk, compliance, and reporting standards. Compensation can include performance-based fees, profit-sharing, salary + bonuses, and scaling opportunities.

34. Do I retain ownership of my trading strategy / IP when working with Morningstar Global or institutions?

Yes. Your trading strategy and intellectual property remain your property. Morningstar Global does not claim ownership over your systems, indicators, or proprietary methods. Institutional contracts may include clauses about usage and reporting which should be reviewed prior to acceptance.

35. Can I work with multiple institutions after being accepted?

Yes, provided there is no exclusivity clause in any contract you sign. Many top performers receive multiple offers as their live track records gain exposure in the industry.

36. Are EAs, copy trading, or HFT strategies allowed during evaluations?

Yes. Morningstar Global welcomes EAs, copy trading systems, algorithmic and quantitative trading, grid trading, martingale, hedging, and other advanced methods. HFT is allowed only if it operates under the live market conditions of the broker provided during evaluation and is proven to perform reliably under real slippage and execution conditions. HFT systems that only work in simulated environments are not permitted unless validated in live markets.

37. How does account verification and performance tracking work?

Traders connect their demo accounts to personal Myfxbook or FXBlue accounts. These platforms serve as public performance dashboards used for transparent verification and institutional presentation. Morningstar Global reviews public verification links as part of the assessment.

38. Step-by-Step: How to Set Up Your Myfxbook / FXBlue Dashboard

1) Create a free account on Myfxbook or FXBlue.
2) Open the demo/trading account provided by Morningstar Global with the partnered broker.
3) Retrieve your investor (read-only) password from MT4/MT5.
4) Connect your account to Myfxbook/FXBlue using the investor password.
5) Set account visibility to Public.
6) Copy the public verification link and submit it in the Morningstar Global Evaluation Form.
This ensures independent verification without sharing private trading access.

39. What are Investor Passwords and why are they required?

The investor (read-only) password allows third-party platforms to view account activity without trading permissions. It is used to connect MT4/MT5 accounts to Myfxbook/FXBlue for verification, keeping trading access private while enabling transparent performance monitoring.

40. What if I don’t know how to connect Myfxbook or FXBlue?

Morningstar Global provides step-by-step tutorials (and video guides where available) to help with setup. Support is available by email for setup issues. The connection process typically takes only a few minutes.

41. Can I use any other performance tracking tool besides Myfxbook or FXBlue?

At this time, Myfxbook and FXBlue are the only accepted verification platforms for evaluation, as they are widely recognized by institutional allocators. Using standardized tools ensures consistent and auditable performance records.

42. What happens if my Myfxbook/FXBlue account is not public or not tracking properly?

If your verification link is not public, broken, or not updating correctly, your evaluation may be delayed or rejected until the issue is resolved. It is the trader's responsibility to ensure the verification link is functional and public.

43. What kind of support does Morningstar Global provide during the evaluation?

Morningstar Global provides email and portal-based support for onboarding, verification, and administrative queries. We supply documentation and tutorials for Myfxbook/FXBlue setup and evaluation rules. We do not provide trading signals, mentoring, or strategy coaching; our role focuses on objective evaluation and representation.

44. Do you offer evaluation programs for institutions, trading desks, or teams?

Yes. Morningstar Global welcomes individual traders, proprietary trading teams, quant firms, and trading floors. We are developing a dedicated Institutional Evaluation Program and, in the meantime, offer a Trading Partner Evaluation Program for advanced teams. Contact us for tailored onboarding and evaluation options.

45. What happens if I violate the evaluation rules or attempt to cheat?

Violations such as hedging between accounts to manipulate results, exploiting demo conditions, or falsifying verification information result in immediate disqualification, revocation of allocations, and potential permanent blacklisting. Integrity and transparency are core to our mission and institutional relationships.

46. What happens if I violate the evaluation rules or attempt to cheat?

Morningstar Global maintains a zero-tolerance policy: violations lead to immediate termination of the evaluation, forfeiture of allocations, and potential permanent disqualification from future programs. We uphold strict anti-manipulation standards to protect the integrity of our evaluations.

47. How far can I scale within Morningstar Global before institutional placement?

Scaling is performance-driven and can reach multi-million-dollar allocations under our Talent Development & R&D Program. Each profit milestone may result in a doubling of capital allocation, contingent on consistent performance and institutional readiness.

48. Can I withdraw or pause after receiving an institutional offer?

Yes. Traders may accept institutional offers, continue trading multiple allocations if permitted, or pause Morningstar Global allocations while negotiating terms. Transition arrangements depend on contract specifics and any exclusivity provisions.

49. What if I want to bring my own algorithm, trading team, or technology to scale?

Morningstar Global offers customized pathways for teams and technology providers. Contact us to discuss bespoke evaluation and onboarding tailored to your infrastructure and strategy.

50. What if new regulations or rules are introduced after I start?

If program terms or regulatory requirements change, Morningstar Global will notify traders in advance and implement changes fairly. We aim to align programs with institutional and regulatory standards, grandfathering ongoing traders where appropriate.
